🗓 Live-In | 7 days per week | Minimum 2-week rotations
💷 £854.70 per week + £35 weekly food allowance
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Female Carer to support a 55‑year‑old lady with complex care needs in the comfort of her own home.
This is a highly rewarding live-in role for someone who is patient, confident in clinical care, and passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred support.
Important: The client follows a strict vegetarian lifestyle.
No meat is to be cooked in the home.
💙 About the Client & Their Needs
We are looking for a personable, friendly, and experienced Live-In Carer with strong complex care experience. Someone who is observant, detail-focused, and committed to ensuring the client’s comfort and wellbeing.
Experience supporting individuals with FOP (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva) is desirable — however, full training will be provided.
The client also has a tracheostomy, managed weekly by a community nurse (including tape changes). You must be confident supporting with:
- Tracheostomy care and cleaning
- Moving and handling
- Providing support during behavioural difficulties, when required
Due to the personal nature of the care required, this position is open to female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement).

✔ Previous care or support experience (live-in complex care desirable)
✔ Experience or knowledge of tracheostomy care
✔ Confident with moving & handling
✔ Able to support behavioural challenges calmly and safely

✔ Enjoys conversation and provides a calm, reassuring presence
✔ Reliable, professional, and well-organised
✔ Able to commit to a minimum 2-week live-in rotation
