Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Norwich, Norfolk.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Bank, waking nights (22:00-07:00)
About the Role
You’ll be supporting a young man in his 20s who has complex needs due to a brain injury, including cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, dystonia, PEG feeding and suctioning. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a support worker with:
- A genuine passion for care and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
- Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and their family.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring condition
- Support with daily/nightly routines
- Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
- Administer medication and monitor health
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
